Since developing China’s first heavy-duty floor-type boring and milling machine in 1973, Qier has been dedicated to advancing high-end CNC machine tools. The newly launched 5th-Generation TK69 Series, equipped with hydrostatic guideways and intelligent compensation technologies, delivers exceptional precision and rigidity, serving the demanding needs of key industries such as energy and shipbuilding. 1.First-Generation Floor-Type Boring and Milling Machine
In 1973, Qier Machine Tool successfully developed China’s first heavy-duty floor-type boring and milling machine, marking the nation’s capability for independent production in this field. The machine featured a spindle speed of 480 rpm and a spindle torque of 20,000 Nm, laying the foundation for the domestic manufacture of heavy-duty boring and milling machines.
2.Second-Generation TK69 Series CNC Floor-Type Boring and Milling Machine
In 2005, the TK69 series CNC floor-type boring and milling machine was launched, filling a domestic gap. The spindle speed was increased to 1200 rpm with a spindle torque of 12,000 Nm, enabling CNC machining. This marked a qualitative leap in China’s boring and milling machine technology, from mechanization to CNC control.
3.Third-Generation TK6916B-26B Series High-Efficiency CNC Floor-Type Boring and Milling Machine
In 2015, the TK6916B-26B series high-efficiency CNC floor-type boring and milling machine was successfully developed. Featuring a spindle speed of 2000 rpm and a rapid feed rate of 12 m/min, it achieved the highest precision performance in China at the time. Continuous innovations in hydrostatic guideway technology and CNC system optimization further enhanced the overall performance of the machine tool.
4.Fourth-Generation TKG69 Series High-Speed CNC Floor-Type Boring and Milling Machine
In 2022, the TKG69 series high-speed CNC floor-type boring and milling machine was successfully launched on the market. With CNC accuracy reaching 0.01 mm, it achieved an internationally advanced level. This marked a leap forward from following to running alongside, and even leading in certain fields.
From the first to the fourth generation, Qier Machine Tool has supplied a total of 2,300 heavy-duty floor-type boring and milling machines to customers. In response to users’ increasing demands for these machines, Qier Machine Tool has launched the development of the fifth-generation floor-type boring and milling machine, focusing on three key aspects: enhancing product reliability and stability, improving accuracy and performance, and addressing users’ pain points — thereby comprehensively advancing product maturity.
